Ash Wednesday is a universal day of Fasting & Abstinence.
This year we are permitted to distribte ashes. Ashes will be distributed at the 10:00 am Mass & at the 7:00 pm Mass.
Stations of the Cross
Stations will be hosted each Friday of Lent starting at 7:00 pm. The Stations will be celebrated in person in the Church.
Reconciliation
Reconciliation is celebrated each Saturday from 3:00 pm until 3:30 pm. During the Season of Lent, the Archdiocese celebrates the Week of Reconciliaiton. Special times will be added furing the Week of March 28 to April 02. You can go to the Archdiocese Website to find the schedule of the various parishes across the Archdiocese.
Here at St, Elizabeth Seton, there will be opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation at the following times:

3:00 pm - Passion of the Lord
Holy Saturday (the first full moon of Spring - dictates tha the Sunday following the first moon is Easter)

11:00 am - The Divine Office - Office of Readings with blessing of Easter Baskets in English
12:00 pm - Blessing of Easter Baskets in Polish
Mass of the Resurrection
8:00 pm - Easter Vigil (It should begin after dark. The sun sets at 7:43 pm in Newmarket, 7:43 in Toronto, 7:44 in Barrie, 9:53 pm in Tuktoyaktuk)
This is not a typical Vigil Mass and will conclude around 11:00 pm. Be forewarned.
