The Giving Tree

GivingTree

The Christmas Giving Tree will be set up by Saturday, November 15th, and will be located at the back of the Church, and decorated with Stars indicating specific gifts for those living in long-term care facilities, and seniors/other home-bound people living in our Community.

Please take a couple of Stars and return these gifts unwrapped by Sunday, November 30th.

Please note: Thought it may seem to be thoughtful, wrapping gifts actually makes more work for those organizing the gift distribution. Gift bags are fine, but so are ordinary bags! As well, it's important to ensure that the Star is attached to the gift, so that we can ensure that gifts make their way to the appropriate recipient!

Finally, we ask that you also pick a prayer card and pray for each person for whom you are purchasing a gift. We may not know one another's name, but we are brother's and sister's in Christ! This way, we are caring for one another not only physically, but spiritually.

As much as ever, your gift or monetary donation will make a difference in the lives of those often left out at this special time of year, and no amount is too small or large.

Thank you for your generosity!
