Swallows returning to Capistrano
March - in like a Lion, out like a Lamb
A Beautiful story of the Swallows returning each year to the the Mission Church in Capistrano. The tradition is, that on each March 19, the feast of St. Joseph, the swallows return from their wintering in Venezuela. This has become quite a tourist attraction. If the truth be told, the swallows return in and around March 19, maybe a few days early or a few days late, but what is a couple of hours for such a beautiful story.

Our Parish Library
Our Parish Library is filled with all kinds of wonderful books for Children - from Christmas to Easter, to First Nation stories and themes of loss and the death of a loved one. We even have a couple of books in French. These books can be signed out to take them home to read and you are also more than welcome to sit in the comfort of the chairs and sofa, snuggle up, and read the book there.
